Soundpainting

Personal and collective creative meditation

It didn't take me long to realise that art in general and Soundpainting in particular, which was invented by Walter Thompson in the 1970s, are precious tools for bringing people together.

Listening, feeling, acknowledging sensations, emotions and inner shifts... Allowing your sensibility and deep creative energy to manifest themselves through your body, through sounds, song, words, an instrument, dance, drawing, etc.

A Soundpainting performance is a one-off occasion in which every person shines, creates, lets their imagination speak and fully connects with the other people there in a collective work shaped in real time.

For everyone... Whether you are a seasoned or budding artist, or an audience member with undiscovered artistic leanings, Soundpainting allows you to rediscover yourself in a new light, to gently redefine your limits, to explore your inventive potential in depth. Listening, moving, watching - all the senses are awakened! It's a fascinating tool that encourages the little creative flame in all of us to burn brightly.

Using signs and gestures, the Soundpainter shapes the creative energy of each person, guides the exploration into the imagination and connects everyone's sometimes crazy ideas. They work the imagination of the performers to compose a collective work in real time in which each individual finds their own role within the group and experiences situations that can be unexpected!

A sign language without borders that brings together all the arts and connects all cultures. Soundpainting is all this, as well as a source of infinite collective creations.
