Mamie Jotax likes to pamper her own and others alike. Officially qualified (Mamie holds several diplomas: Soundpainting levels I and II, DE, CA, a Master's, DAI, a’tchoum’!*), JOTAX and all its science can be summed up without any contrivance as good old kindness. 

Each member of the duo was drawn by the live performance scene for the opportunities of encounter it provides; encounter of the arts, the gaze, the encounter between human beings in all their richness and otherness. Their artistic practices have always (and we're talking about Mamie) been linked to the desire to be close to their audiences, to share their passions, to present a happy bit of art and to present themselves in order to perform better. 

Camille and Carmen will explain it to you each in their own language: every event, workshop, presentation, residency or other immersion maintains Mamie's ardour while making her more mature. So: "We love: We want to tell you about it!"  

Mamie JOTAX organises events for children, amateur musicians or for anyone who is interested in what we do.
