Inspired by the encounters and music that have influenced me since I was a child, FloOd bacK is a creative lab in which three artists play freely with dreamlike sounds, organic rhythms and rich melodies.
Strings, skins and woodwind improvise their dreams, while sensitive pedals and computers create unusual effects.
The rhythmic energy of rock, the sonic openness of contemporary music, the improvised lyricism of jazz… These influences come together in shifting compositions and graphic improvisations.
Always keen to embrace opportunities for encounter and exchange, we like to risk some unconventional joint productions and projects from time to time. So far, these have involved singers, dancers, a oiselon [new high-pitched violin], a recorder, medieval percussion instruments...
